WithU x parkrun: Exclusive Digital Fitness Partner
This partnership will build on the experience of parkrun's weekly running event, to support and encourage participants to improve their health through audio fitness.
At WithU we’re always seeking new and exciting ways to break down the barriers to accessing world-class fitness and wellness content, whether that’s providing extended access to the WithU App, working with our partnering brands as part of the WithU Loyalty incentive, or working with companies through our corporate WithU Wellness program.
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with parkrun UK. WithU is now the Exclusive Digital Fitness Partner for parkrun. This partnership centres around a focus on inclusivity and providing fitness for all.
parkruns are free, weekly, community events hosted at more than 1000 locations in the UK. 5k events take place in parks and open spaces every Saturday morning with 2k junior parkruns for 4-14 year olds being held on Sundays. parkruns provide a positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience where there is no time limit, and no one finishes last.
Everyone is welcome to come along, whether they walk, jog, run, volunteer, or spectate – the important thing is just to participate! Since parkrun was founded in 2004, more than 2.5 million people have completed an event in the UK.
Both WithU and parkrun’s mission is to improve accessibility to physical activity at any fitness level. We encourage everyone to increase their movement, to walk, jog or run, from beginners to running enthusiasts. We aim to get you to the start line, all the way to the finish line.
WithU will be offering free parkrun content, coming soon. This will be available to all and will feature a variety of programmes and workouts that will support you to hit your running goals, whether you wish to focus on your endurance, speed or form. With leading technology, you will be able to receive guidance and motivation to get you through your runs, keep improving and allow your confidence to grow.
Fitness can be intimidating, especially for beginners. We are passionate about supporting everyone, at all levels, to achieve their fitness goals, whatever they may be. If you are looking to complete your first ever 5k, get back into running, or you are hoping to push yourself to improve your time, we have workouts just for you.
We believe that health should be approached holistically, which is why we offer a full range of content from strength training, to running, to mobility and meditation. Every aspect of WithU helps members improve their health and fitness in a variety of ways. Our partnership with parkrun will support this by providing programmes that focus on all aspects of improving your running from mobility sessions, to strength and conditioning, to the runs themselves.
Expect workouts from your favourite WithU coaches to help you, whatever your ability, to improve your pace or technique and ignite (or re-ignite) your love for running.
