We’re adding a brand-new modality to WithU: Pilates. Get ready to level up your workouts with master coach Jo-Leigh.
Pilates is now available on WithU, and we’re kicking things off with a brand-new collection to get you started. Led by the incredible Jo-Leigh, our new Pilates offering will help to kick your workout routine up a gear.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a movement system that works to improve your strength, flexibility, and posture, with a particular focus on your core. It was created by German gymnast, Joseph Pilates, as a way of protecting his body from injury, and it’s still used today – some hundred years later – in the same manner.
Who is it for?
Because of its low impact nature, Pilates is suited to anyone and everyone. No matter your age, ability, or fitness level, there’s a workout for you. Just as with every fitness modality, what works for one person isn’t necessarily going to work for another, so don’t be afraid to experiment with the different styles to find your perfect fit. And with five primary types of Pilates out there, you’re spoilt for choice.
