Get a headstart on your new year fitness goals
Start now and see how much you can achieve.
The period between Christmas and New Year can feel like limbo. Plans are flying about, everyone’s recharging between festivities, and your days lack structure. It’s so easy to sit back and think, “I’ll wait until January to get back into a routine with fitness”, but we’re here to ask – why wait!?
Get a headstart
We’re encouraging you to get a headstart on your goals, and to stay active during this week off. All we’re asking you to do is complete two workouts between 27 and 31 December. And, the best part is it doesn’t matter what workouts you complete, that’s entirely up to you!
If all you fancy doing is a meditation or a stretch, that’s totally fine. While equally, if you’ve got a little extra energy in the tank to burn off, feel free to take on a sweaty HIIT circuit instead.
The benefits of getting a jump start
By getting back into a routine now, rather than waiting for January, you’ll be putting yourself in a much stronger position to reach your goals. It might not seem like much, but by starting even just one week earlier, things will feel easier come the new year.
Either way the time is going to come and go, so why not put it to good use instead of letting it pass you by. After all, you’ll never regret a workout, but you might regret waiting.
Need a little extra incentive?
If you’re on the fence about whether you want to get involved, how’s this for an extra incentive – everyone who shares their workouts with us over on our Instagram will be entered into a prize draw, to be in with the chance of winning £200 for a new pair of trainers!
Not bad for only two workouts.
Staying active is hugely beneficial to both your physical and mental health, however you do it. So, do your future self a favour and get a headstart on your 2023 goals by taking part in this challenge. You never know what you could achieve.
