Exclusive training programmes for parkrunners

We’ve launched five brand-new programmes in partnership with parkrun.

We’ve got some big news – our brand-new parkrun programmes are officially live. With programmes for complete beginners through to seasoned pros, there’s something for everyone.

 

The programmes

Whatever your running goal might be, each eight week programme has been carefully designed to support you in your journey. There’s continuous and interval runs, there’s strength and conditioning workouts, and there’s mobility flows, all of which work in tandem to keep you performing at your best.

The Walk To 5K programme is perfect for novice runners looking to complete their very first 5K event, while our time-based programmes are for runners that are looking to complete a parkrun event in under a certain time, ranging from sub 20 to sub 35 minute time-goals. 

But that’s not all. We’ve integrated real-time GPS tracking into each run, which allows you to receive personalised feedback based on how you’re progressing through the distance. This way, our coaches can be with you every step of the way, to provide you with motivation and support right when you need it.

 

The benefits of a programme

Programmes offer structure to your workout regime, and they take all the guesswork out of the training process. As well, with having a plan written out for you the pressure is off to decide what you should be doing each day. Pretty handy, right?

 

 

Having a programme to follow offers a kind of accountability that individual workouts don’t. By following a programme, you’re more likely to push through on the days where your motivation is low, and it’s in these hard-fought moments – the moments when you thought you couldn’t do it – that the real results are found.

 

How to get started

Getting started with the new range of programmes couldn’t be easier – simply open your WithU app and head to the parkrun page. From there you can explore each one, to find your perfect fit. Don’t forget to schedule your workouts into your calendar, to make sure that you never miss a session.
